218 STUDENTS and staff at Palmer’s College in Grays signed up to register as blood donors to help save lives on Monday 16 March 2009.
This year they also saw 4 students register to carry organ donor cards.
The College recognises the importance in giving blood and organised for the National Blood Service to come on campus in search for new blood.
The National Blood Service were thrilled with the response and are hoping to make a return trip to the College next year.
Mark Vinall, Principal of Palmer’s College said: “The College is dedicated in supporting this annual event and acknowledges the importance of giving blood to help save lives.”
