Angry West Ham fans slammed former star and ex-jailbird, Mark Ward for quitting a book signing session early.
Ward was booked to sign copies of his autobiography “From Right-Wing to B-Wing” from 3pm to 5pm at Waterstones in Lakeside but Ward quit the signing half way through leaving many Hammers fans upset.
Mark Allen, 25, Harlow said: “I am very disappointed. He has a really interesting story and so we came down specifically.”
Ward was sentenced to eight years in 2005 for possession of cocaine with intent to supply. He wrote 100,000 words whilst in Walton Jail in Liverpool.
A Press Spokesperson said: “We are sorry. It is just one of those things.”
