A BIG lunch event is set to take place in Grays Town Park.
Thurrock Council is inviting the public to take part in fun and games at the park located between Clarence and Orsett Road, on Saturday June 20 from noon to 3pm.
The Big Lunch is a national initiative that aims to get neighbourhoods sitting down and eating lunch together in a relaxed environment.
The borough’s eight to 13-year-olds are especially encouraged to come along, as they will be able to have their say on the types of play equipment they would ideally choose for Grays town park, as a result of the playbuilder initiative in the borough.
Community Forums will also be in attendance, advising people on what is happening in the local area.
