The Thurrock Community Chest recently celebrated its tenth anniversary. Countless organisations across the borough have benefitted from the Chest and indeed continue to do so. Next month, Liz Hosford and Wayne Whiskerd will be off to Australia to compete in the World Transplant Games while scout groups, riding stables and other community groups are indebted to the chest for their work.
