Grays boxer John McDermott is set to defend his English title against hard-hitting young hopeful Tyson Fury.
6ft 8 inch Fury has been gaining rave notices as he demolishes his opponents at a rate of knots, similar to his name-sake Mike.
John, disappointed at losing on points to Danny Williams in their British title re-match in April, knows that this is a key fight in his career. Lose this and the “where do you go from here?” calls will come.
The fight is set for September 11th at the York Hall, Bethnal Green.
