The refurbished Corringham Library now has even more new technology for visitors.
As well as accessing the Internet for free through the St John’s Way library’s computers, visitors can now access the Net through their laptop (as long as it has wi-fi availability).
Wi-fi makes it easy to use the Internet or send emails – no more queuing for busy computers. Just ask staff for a token which enables two hours’ free access via your portable device.
The library also has new sun pipes and a heating/air conditioning system that enables it to be more environmentally friendly.
It also boasts aself-issue borrowing system and a meeting room is available for hire with an interactive whiteboard for any local groups or businesses to use.
