Calling all dancers – Would you like to be in a Professional Pantomime?
The 2009/2010 pantomime at the Thameside Theatre, Grays is Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs starring Catriana Sandison as Snow White; Mark Siney as Dame Dolly Jollybottom; James Campbell as Muddles & Steph Parry as Queen Morgana. It runs for 62 performances between Friday 4 December 2009 to Sunday 10 January 2010.
Bruce James Productions and Thurrock Council will be holding auditions on Monday 14 September 2009 at the Thameside Theatre, Grays from 6.00pm. They are looking for dancers who will share the wonderful experience of taking part in a professional pantomime.
Two teams of seven juveniles are needed to play dwarfs. These can be boys or girls, over 8 years old, who can move, sing and act very well. The maximum height is 4’10’’ (1.48 metres) high.
There are also two teams of intermediate dancers needed who must be at least
Grade 5 or higher in Dancing (Ballet or Modern or both).
If you are interested, you are asked to arrive promptly and wear appropriate dancewear and shoes. Parents are welcome to wait in the foyer but will not be allowed in the theatre whilst the audition takes place.
Please make sure you are available between Sunday 22 November 2009 and Sunday 10 January 2010 (inclusive) and that your parents agree to the commitment you are making, before you attend.
