Bethany Adams 15 from Grays is singing out for National Adoption week with Elliot Evans (Britain’s Got Talent) and the West End Kids Company to raise money and awareness for the British Association of Fostering and Adoption during National Adoption Week (9th – 13th November).
Bethany, a member of the famous “West End Kids” Company from the West End of London has recorded a fresh version of “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” and also sang with Elliot Evans, Britain’s Got Talent Finalist on a new version of Michael Jackson’s, “I’ll Be There”. The singles will be released via i-Tunes and other online retailers during National Adoption Week.
The project is part of the “Voice In A Million” event taking place at London’s o2 Arena on January 28th 2010, which will see Bethany take centre stage with the West End Kids to perform the recording of Ain’t No Mountain High Enough with full choreography with the West End Kids Company, in addition to musical numbers from Oliver and Hairspray.
Commenting on this once in a lifetime performance and recording experience, Martin-Gwyn Williams (Founder & Artistic Director of West End Kids) said; “This is going to be a tremendous experience. Everyone dreams of performing and leading an event in front of thousands of people at somewhere like the O2 arena and the dream is going to come true for the West End Kids.
The recording is in a great cause, helping the BAAF with their National Adoption Week campaign whilst giving the super-talented young performers of West End Kids great performance and recording experience”.
Bethany has also recently performed at the prestigious “West End Live” event for thousands at Leicester Square and will appear with the West End Kids at the “Royal Festival Hall” in December 2009.
West End Kids are still auditioning young performers to join the Company and perform at the o2 arena in January. A nationwide talent search will also start shortly, as the West End Kids look to find young boys to play the roles of “Oliver” and “Dodger”, live at the o2 Arena.
