THE TILBURY Heritage Open Day is dedicated to preserving a rich cultural heritage along the Thames. The guns go off, the vintage buses go on tour and the impressive fort stands tall as one of the borough’s proudest edifices.

Tilbury Riverside Project, Organiser Annie O’Brien discussed the value and educational value of the day.
