As reported two weeks ago, The East of England Regional Assembly held a public consultation on the future of housing in Thurrock.
The Thurrock Tories turned out in force and spoke passionately about their concerns over the borough. Labour had one representative.
Deputy Leader Amanda Arnold believes that while the schools have their funding pulled and doubts remain over many other infrastructure projects, there should be a moratorium on all housing plans.
Cllr Arnold has many concerns about the roles and remits of the multitude of organisations that have “blossomed” under Labour rule in the last twelve years.
We spoke to Amanda about her concerns.
