77-YEAR OLD Peter Perrin is becoming quite a regular in the gallery at the Thurrock Council meetings. He isn’t quite a thorn in the side of the Tories, more a gentle satirical prodder.
Peter submitted several questions regarding the efficacy of the new 3-bin systems being rolled out across the borough. Portfolio Holder Mike Revell explained that an accurate picture as to the success or otherwise could only be ascertained in January 2010.
After the meeting, the two were seen deep in conversation. This could be a double act that could run and run.
