IT LOOKS like Chief Executive Bob Coomber is a man of his word when he said he would not have councillors castigating officers in public.
Chair of Planning, Cllr Stuart St-Clair Haslam issued an unreserved apology to Senior Planning Officer Anne Esplin regarding his interaction with her at last months planning meeting.
The apology comes after Ms Esplin lodged a complaint.
Ms Esplin has now changed her seat from next to Cllr St-Clair-Haslam on the bench to a position next to her fellow officers.
Cllr St-Clair-Haslam proceeded to conduct the meeting in an exemplary and professional manner.
