THE OCKENDON Scout & Guide Group held their annual Christmas Bazaar yesterday (Saturday 28/11) and it was a great success. Not only did they make sure that everyone who went along got into the festive spirit but they also had some great stalls.
Father Christmas paid them a visit and they raised a staggering £1125.00 for the girls and boys that make up the Group. The stalls included: Guess the Height of the Xmas Tree, Name the Beaver Scout Teddy, Bang a Conker, Win a Bottle, lots of great tombolas and much, much more.
Colin Ward, Group Scout Leader said, “I would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to all the organisers of the Bazaar as without them it would not happen.”
