IF THERE is a beacon of hope in relation to the criticisms of the Audit Commission in relation to community cohesion then it has to be the work of the One Community Development Trust.
Over a year ago, Mark Patchett introduced the idea at a seminar at the Gateway Academy. A year on and the whole concept is gathering pace with members of the Chadwell and Tilbury community gathered together to push forward the idea of a one community development trust.
Perhaps it is unfair to publish reports when so many projects are in their infancy or in development, either way, the Development Trust know where they are heading and we look forward to charting their progress and success.
