MP, ANDREW Mackinlay replacement as Labour parliamentary candidate for Thurrock is set to be announced tomorrow (Saturday).
After securing a landslide in the local nominations, Chair of Thurrock Labour, Carl Morris is viewed by many as the favourite to defend the 6,375 majority.
The other candidates are:
Adenike Abimbola-Akindele, a former House of Commons worker, a school governor and a committee member of Africans for Labour.
Mark McDonald, a human rights lawyer who has worked in Grays and Basildon for 12 years.
Lisa Homan, a councillor at Hammersmith and Fulham Council and is its shadow Cabinet member for crime and street scene.
