IT is sixteen months since we last visited the retired greyhounds out in Ockendon but with the snows our thoughts came naturally to them.
When we got there we found the greyhounds in fine voice, especially Father Jack! named after the mad priest in Father Ted. He has to be seen to be believed!
The greyhounds seem to love the weather and are all wrapped up with their double coats but all still keen to go out for a walk.
We spoke to Jane Singleton about the trust and whether they had been effected by the winter and the recession.
