OVER 600 people a year in Thurrock suffer from a stroke. It is quite a frightening statistic. It begs the question: What support is out there for those who suffer.
It seems that matters are getting much better in the borough. Recent seminars in the borough have helped members of the public gain much more access to information.
The Stroke Project, launched at the Thurrock Carers Centre in Cromwell Road, Grays has taken things much more further and given a support structure that will help survivors and their families.
YourThurrock went along to the Centre to see what exactly the project can do for the borough.
