The Rocks will be disappointed at dropping another two points at home against Enfield at Rookery Hill on saturday.
But having had Kris Newby sent off the team did well to stem the tide against fellow play off rivals.
Boss John Coventry said: “I think we have turned a corner. Tuesday’s defeat hurt but we really defended well and showed a great deal of character.
“We are a little bit off where I wanted to be but I think we can build momentum to peak for the play offs.”
