HIS PHONE was apparently red hot just after 8pm on tuesday after Orsett-based Malcolm MacKinnon won the final of the first heat of the Krypton Factor. Many didn’t think he would do it as he tailed by a country mile in the assault course but his stamina won through to cut the gap considerably.
Malcolm really shone through in the final General Knowledge round helped (said Malcolm) by a few helpful seventies based questions on David Bowie and Monty Python!
We caught up with Malcolm to find out how he got involved in the Krypton Factor and found out it was not his first appearance on a quiz programme on television.
The semi-final will be aired on tuesday March 2nd.
