Duke of Edinburgh’s Graffiti Wall

By Lucy Chipperfield

As part of their Bronze Award, the creative participants from the O.A.Ks Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Group added a blast of colour to the Holy Cross Parish Church in South Ockendon with their brilliantly bright graffiti wall.

Following the guidance of artist John Bulley, Clare Merivale, Georgina Reid-Ward, Joe Ingram, Jonathon Mills, Liam O’Sullivan and Rory Wallace have been voluntarily dedicating their time and effort to create their graffiti masterpiece.

During our visit, it was clear that all of the participants involved within the graffiti wall had thoroughly enjoyed themselves and had found it an incredibly rewarding opportunity to be a part of.

Group Leader, Jacky Phillips was incredibly proud of all of the participants who took part in the graffiti project and was overwhelmed by everything they had achieved during their unique opportunity.

If you too would like to organise a similar project in your local community then contact John Bulley via his website www.johnbulley.com
