QUICK thinking by workers prevented a possible fatal accident on the A13.
As men were working on near to the bridge that spans Sainsbury’s in Chafford Hundred with Davy Down, they noticed a woman standing on her own.
Convinced that she was going to jump, a worker clambered up the embankment and coaxed her down before calling the police.
An Essex Police Spokesperson said: “A woman had attended Basildon Hospital but left without treatment. She was located to the bridge where the police attended.”
