The alarm at 11pm last night (saturday) was raised after smoke was seen coming from the property in Bracelet Close, Corringham. When crews arrived at the scene they reported that the whole of the ground floor of the two-storey building was well alight.
Initially it was thought there may be people inside the property but at 23:33 hrs everyone had been accounted for and crews confirmed there were no casualties.
Once the fire was out, crews ventilated the property.
A joint Police and Fire Service investigation will be carried out to establish the cause of the fire.
