THURROCK MP Andrew Mackinlay opened the bridge that spans the RSPB site at Rainham with Purfleet and beyond.
The arch and bridge designed by Edward Allington has been a feat of organisation as a host of parties have come to the table to work together for the benefit of the community. Indeed, in his speech, Mr Mackinlay needed some help to remember all the vested interests. The bridge has become something of a cypher for Thurrock and the multi-agency approach to working together for the benefit of regeneration.
