If you have answered yes to any of these questions, why not join one of the Book chat reading groups that meet in libraries across the borough?
Reading groups are free, informal gatherings of people of all ages who meet on a regular basis to talk about books and to share their enthusiasm for reading.
A number of Book chat groups meet across the borough. Details are as follows
Aveley Library: Every Saturday at 3pm.
Chafford Hundred Library: Third Monday of each month, 7.30pm – 9pm.
Corringham Library: First Saturday of each month, 2pm – 4pm.
Blackshots Library: Last Tuesday of each month, 6.30pm – 8pm.
Belhus Library: Third Monday of each month, 2.30pm – 3.30pm.
East Tilbury Library: First Tuesday of each month, 7.30pm.
Grays Library: Third Wednesday of each month, 2pm.
Stanford-le-Hope Library: First Monday of each month, 2pm – 3.30pm and first Saturday of each month, 3pm.
These times and dates may sometimes be subject to change, so to avoid disappointment, please check with your local library before attending a group.
