A Mark Goble header secured a point for The Millermen against an impressive Ebbsfleet United at the Mill Field.
With massive changes at both clubs, it was hard to recognise who was who.
For The Fleet, Paul Lorraine and Dean Pooley formed a solid partnership in central defence.
The first chance came for Fleet in the 19th minute when former Miller Joao Carlos half-volleyed over the crossbar.
Aveley keeper Matt Bennett was a dominant force, showing great command in the air.
Aveley took the lead against the run of play in the 28th minute when centre-back Mark Goble headed a right-wing cross beyond the left hand of James Dunn and into the far corner.
Duncan almost levelled the scores late in the half when his right-wing free-kick evaded the grasp of Bennett but the ball dropped narrowly wide of the far post.
However, the second-half was just six minutes old when the Fleet got themselves back on level terms. Tyrone Sealey, on as a substitute for Carlos, intercepted a loose pass on the halfway line and ran 40 yards before unselfishly squaring for Ginty to smash into an empty net.
Another Fleet replacement, former Grays goalkeeper Preston Edwards, pulled off three excellent saves to keep the scores level as the half wore on and the impressive Sealey made another break before cutting inside and firing his shot against a defender.
