Thurrock-based small and medium sized companies are being offered free training on Cloud Computing and Green IT.
Knowledge Thurrock Innovation Associates (KTIA) is offering the training at an interactive workshop in Grays during September.
KTIA is a Thurrock Council initiative that supports local small and medium sized businesses to deliver specific projects which ideally benefit the bottom line and support carbon reduction. Richard Snell, KTIA Project Delivery Manager and event organiser said,
“Cloud Computing has been around for a few years now but not many small and medium sized businesses are aware of the benefits of the development. Guarav Malik, the Field Leader in this area for the University of East London will be offering an introduction to Cloud Computing, the risks, threats and security of Cloud Computing and how to empower your users and customers.”
“The workshop, which is supported by East of England Development Agency (EEDA) through the European Regional Development Fund, will take place on Thursday, 9th September between 0830 and 1100.”

The event is being co-funded by Thurrock Council, the East of England Development Agency, and the Thurrock Thames Gateway Development Corporation.
