THERE IS such a friendly atmosphere down at the South Ockendon Bowls Club that every day must feel like an Open Day.
The games were in full swing and along the side of the green a number of stalls raising money for the club gave the feel of a real community spirit down at the Cliffs Place club.
We spoke to Colin Smith about the progress, the club have made, the help given by Veoila Mardyke Trust and the hopes for the future.
