IT IS now less than two years away and it is good to keep track of the borough’s Olympic hopefuls.
Fresh from her National ABA triumph, Chadwell boxer Nina Smith has been globe-trotting to pick up vital experience.
Nina said: “I just boxed in Hungary in the European Union Championships last week. This was my first international tournament. I won my first bout against an Irish girl, then lost to a Hungarian girl in the Quarter-finals.
“I took part in a training camp in Crete, great experience and got sparring with seven different countries.
“I also went to a training camp with Chinese training with them every day. Great experience sharing our different ways of training and lots of sparring in boxing conditions”
