William Edwards have been the bedrock of educational excellence for decades in the borough. What is happening now is that they are now breathing down the neck of the Grays Convent as they are just 1% behind their neighbours.
The students at the school were ecstatic as they mingled in the assembly hall to get the good news.
YourThurrock’s Mike Jones spoke to a number of students including Ellie Monk and Deputy Headteacher Ralph Henderson to bottle the euphoria at the school.
