HASTINGS sub Kenny Pogue inspired the Sussex team to a come from behind and win 3-1 win away to Aveley.
Aveley have had an underwhelming start to the season and this performance won’t help.
It had all looked so promising after David Knight put the Millermen in front with a perfectly placed free kick in the 57th minute.
But two goals in a minute took the wind out of Aveley’s sails as Pogue struck home a stunning equaliser and then helped to set up the other two goals.
Ade Olorunda beat the offside trap to move around Bennett and pass into an empty net.
The final winner was scored by Fraser Logan.
