AN ESSEX Air Ambulance helicopter came to the aid of a teenage boy in Tilbury this afternoon.
The helicopter was scrambled just before 3pm this afternoon after reports that a youth had suffered a leg injury whilst on his bike in the Adelaide Road area of Tilbury.
The helicopter deftly landed in a parcel of green near to Dunlop Road where they were joined by two further ambulances.
The youth was transferred by land ambulance to Basildon Hospital.
