POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a woman in her fifties had her handbag snatched in Grove Road, Stanford-le-Hope.
At 7.45pm on Sunday, September 12, suspects approached the victim from behind and grabbed her bag from her shoulder. The bag had cash, a purse and a mobile phone inside, worth an estimated £250 in total.
The two suspects were men, of medium builds and 5’8” in height. One was wearing a black hooded top and the other was wearing a white hooded top.
