IT IS just like buses. A clean-up story doesn’t appear for weeks and now we have three in a row! Sometimes, you try and make an editorial decision and ponder whether to just run one. Our decision was to profile each and every clean-up as evidence of the sterling work done by community groups around the borough.
There are also examples of modest but civic-minded individuals who quietly clean up an area that they live in.
YourThurrock visited Andrew Blakey and the team down in John Street, Grays where a collection of groups and individuals were working hard to clean up the streets.
