THERE is no stopping Corringham’s Queen of Can-Do! Lucy Chipperfield has just spent three days cycling from London to Paris raising over £,2,000 for Little Havens Hospice.
Lucy set off from Crystal Palace in her Bertie Bubbles bike. The first 95 miles took her up and down the North Downs before arriving in Dover.
A quick jaunt across La Manche and voila! (enough franglais-Ed) Lucy sped onto Paris and the finishing line at the Eiffel Tower to be met by her mother and father.
Lucy said: “The only mis-hap is that my bike, Bertie Bubbles ran out of bubbles! It has been tiring but I would like to thank all those who sponsored me.”
