IT IS an encouraging site that more sports are being added to the Thurrock calendar as opposed to them fading away.
This was the first competitive match for Thurrock as the return of the sport is in it’s earliest stages.
Upminster easily won this friendly 13-4 but the point at the moment is to raise awareness and build a base for next season.
