OPEN auditions take place at Thurrock Civic Hall, Blackshots, this weekend for roles in the pantomime Aladdin at the venue.
Budding stars will get the chance to take to the stage alongside David Van Day, Josh Dubovie, Daniel Fox, Frazer Hines and Sue Moxley.
The auditions are open to any act from singers to dancers to variety performers, who believe they have the talent and ability to entertain the thousands of people expected to see Aladdin this year.
If you are interested in auditioning then you are invited to attend on the 25th.
All acts will be asked to perform to ‘Hairspray’s ‘You Can’t Stop the Beat’ for two to three minutes.
Individual performers’ auditions are from 9.30am to 11am, latest registration 12pm. Performers will need a CD with the appropriate sound or backing track.
Group auditions are from 12.30pm – 2pm, latest registration 2.30pm. MP3s will be provided for groups
