SOUTH OCKENDON writer Julie Earle had her school essays published at school. Trouble is, she didn’t realise they had been published and went on to become a housewife and mother without ever realising her potential.
But with the support of her husband Stan and four children, Julie began to write every night for a year. The product was, The Magical Gate. They found a publisher and the book seems to be going from strength to strength.
The book is based on heroine Amy, who finds herself fighting to save not only herself but her mystical fairyland and is hailed as “gripping readers from ages three to 83”.
A 90-second 3D animation bringing the book to life is available from Julie’s websites www.themagicalgate.com
