A QUIZ night will be held at St Stephen’s church this friday at 7.30pm in order to raise funds for the Bar ‘n’ Bus.
Bar N Bus is a double decker bus that is kitted out with a tea bar, play stations and more traditional board games. It operates as a mobile youth outreach programme, working with 11 to 19 year olds. They average 20 young people on the bus each week, sometimes more, sometimes less. Last night the bus and the hot chocolate were very popular.
The Bar n Bus organisation is a registered charity. All the team members are volunteers and they hold various fund raisers throughout the year to help with the running costs of the bus.
Their current bus is out of action due to gear box problems so they have a bus on loan from another area.
Fish or chicken with chips are included in the price of your ticket.
You can bring your own refreshments although St Clements do have a no alcohol rule. It is a traditional quiz categories include: sport, general knowledge music and stuff.
I appreciate that you may be busy, but if you can come along you would be very welcome.
You can pay on the night, but would be really helpful to know in advance if you would prefer fish, chicken or vegeterian meal.
