MP Jackie Doyle Price was especially pleased that Prime Minister, David Cameron name-checked Thurrock in his speech at the Tory party conference in Birmingham last week.
The PM referred to the constituency as one of the seats that the Tories had not won in decades. Indeed, many felt the tide had turned after Mr Cameron’s Palmer’s College rally.
