Citizens Advice Bureau: AGM

AS we say, it is a number of au revoirs to chair of Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB), Barrie Lawrence. He stood down from being a councillor in May and now stands down from CAB. We hope that his health improves and he returns to local politics.

Representatives from a number of organisations gathered at the Beehive for the annual general meeting of CAB. This was a vital meeting as CAB finds itself under increasing demand, a growth industry and at something of a crossroads.

YourThurrock cameras captured Barrie’s valedictory speech as well as manager, Mike Rawlings and former Bishop of Chelmsford, John Gladwin.
