DRIVING into the grounds of Stan’s gym on the Aveley Road is like stepping into another world. The gym has a certain retro feel but it is the religious paraphenalia that adorn the walls that are truly fascinating.
The gym is run by the energetic, enigmatic and enthusiastic Stan Earle. In the first in a series of interviews, we spoke to Stan about his faith and how it is made manifest in his gym.
