LAKESIDE Shopping Centre is preparing to be transformed into a Halloween hotspot during half term. Staff on the food court will be dressing up as ghouls, goblins, wizards and witches to hand out free treats to children from 12-3pm each day.
The food court will also host a “guess the weight of the pumpkin” competition which will see five children receive some great prizes from a selection of the centre’s retailers, including a mountain bike and MP3 player. There will also be plenty of other spooky surprises courtesy of activities on a Halloween-themed stage.
Aaron Brett, Lakeside Shopping Centre’s Food Court Manager, comments: “Halloween is a great excuse for our staff to get dressed up and have some ‘terror-ific’ free fun with the kids on the food court.”
