Thurrock’s Youth Cabinet had a chance to see how they help other young people to shine, when they visited the Thameside Theatre on Wednesday (10 November) evening.
They were at a Thurrock Academy of Performing Arts (TAPA) show. TAPA has been funded this year by the Youth Opportunity and Capital Fund to help buy equipment to improve their chances of performing in a variety of settings and increasing the participation of young people across the borough.
The two-night three-hour show saw 40 children, young people and adults performing in front of capacity audiences who watched performances of dance and song.
Amy Rice, a member of the Youth Cabinet said: “It was good to see as many young people benefit from the fund and the work we do.”
