Its all happening for local singer /songwriter Georgia Strand. Only last week she supported Squeeze at Chinnery’s in Southend and now she will be live on stage at What PA’s Open Mic event in Orsett.
Georgia performed a thirty minute set in Southend and the reception from the 500 strong crowd was exceptional. She spent most of the late evening handing out CD’s to the audience after her set. Glen Tilbrook from Squeeze watched most of her set from the wings and was very enthusaistic about the young singer.
If you would like to see Georgia on stage then What PA? are hosting the open mic event in the Jaguar bar at the Orsett Hall Hotel this thursday 2nd December. Entry is £3 or if you are a performer then entry is free.
