Following a mammoth shop at Lakeside Shopping Centre, Father Christmas was spotted taking full advantage of the centre’s annual free Shop & Drop service. From 1st to 31st December, customers can lighten the load by dropping shopping bags throughout the day at the secure Shop & Drop desk by Next. They can then collect their bags by car later on from the outside collection point.
The Shop & Drop service makes Christmas shopping easier and safer for families and gives them the chance to spend quality time together in the centre enjoying the Christmas festivities. This Christmas, Lakeside’s Shop & Drop service is collecting money for the Essex Deaf Children’s Society; last Christmas Lakeside raised £2,468 for Little Havens Children’s Hospice.
To give shoppers even more opportunity to Christmas shop, Lakeside Shopping Centre has extended its opening hours and will be keeping its doors open late for Christmas from 29th November to 23rd December: 10am – 11pm Monday – Friday, 9am – 10pm on Saturdays and 10am – 5pm on Sundays.
