The organisers of this years excellent Orsett Nativity on the pound are delighted to announce that the event will go ahead this Tuesday (14th) .
There had been speculation that the event would no longer be a viable option but Jackie Firmin , who has organised the event for many years, contacted Yourthurrock today to confirm the Xmas spectacular.
This is an event that normally the whole village turns out to and is a wonderful family occasion. Along with traditional Christmas Carols, visitors are treated to the Nativity story ,mulled wine and hot mince pies.
The Orsett Village nativity starts at 7.30 on Tuesday 14th and is completely free.
