ORSETT Resident’s are delighted following the decision by Thurrock Council’s Licensing Sub-Committee to reject an application to play music from a permanent marquee at The Foxhound Pub, Orsett.
Residents were particularly concerned that if this application were approved, allowing music from the marquee on a regular basis the disturbance from noise nuisance would be come more frequent and intrusive.
The decision to turn down the application was made after it was agreed approval would have a detrimental affect to those living nearby.
