A MAN has been bailed until January 4th following an incident yesterday (Tuesday) when the sound of gunfire was heard in a Stanford-le-Hope street.
Armed police raced to King Street after there were reports of shots being fired.
Essex police confirmed that a 31-year-old man had been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. He has now been bailed until January 4th.
To date, police have yet to find the gun used in the attack neither have any victims come forward.
