SEVERAL Year 8 students at Gable Hall school in Corringham showed their christmas spirit by organising and serving at a special christmas meal for the elderly at the school.

Indeed, Corringham was full of good cheer as local taxi company Whitehall Taxis ferried the pensioners to and from the Southend Road school free of charge.

We spoke to student Sonny Shilling about the afternoon.
