THE ASBESTOS company at the heart of a controversial use of land in South Ockendon has gone into liquidation.
Companies House broke the news that T and S Multi Services ceased trading on December 10th.
Between 2007 and 2009. Ockendon residents campaigned against agricultural land at Bentons Farm, Mollands Lane,South Ockendon being used for industrial purposes.
Ockendon Concerned Resident’s Action Group (OCRAG) was formed as they feared that the owners, T&S Multi Services Ltd, may use the land to store asbestos.
After a long campaign, the Planning Inspectorate ruled that the farm could not be used for industrial purposes.

The company website has now been removed.
